Why Kenya

The World's Greatest Safari Destination

Kenya is, quite simply, the safari capital of the world. Home to the legendary Maasai Mara — stage of the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of Earth's most extraordinary natural spectacles — Kenya's mosaic of ecosystems shelters an unrivalled richness of wildlife. From the elephant-dusted plains of Amboseli with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, to the flamingo-pink shores of Lake Nakuru, the untouched wilderness of Samburu, and the vast red landscapes of Tsavo, every corner of Kenya promises encounters that will stop your breath.

At ORC Tours & Travel, we have elevated the Kenya road safari into a genuinely luxurious experience. Each of our itineraries — whether a swift 2-day taste or an immersive 10-day grand journey — is delivered with private 4x4 game-viewing vehicles, hand-picked five-star lodges and luxury tented camps, gourmet bush dining, exclusive conservancy access, and the unmatched expertise of our Kenya-born guides. This is Africa's finest wildlife theatre, experienced exactly as it should be: in complete comfort, total privacy, and breathtaking style.

Kenya Safari Tours

Kenya Safari Tours

These trips entail traveling by road from Kenya's main cities and towns to the game reserves, and also within the game reserves. A road safari in Kenya is the perfect way to view the beautiful Kenyan landscape. Road safaris are also good if you are visiting Kenya on a budget or if you have time to spend on safari. A Kenya road safari could be a Classic Kenya safari - where a driver guide will inform and take you to the best spots in the bush, while staying in comfortable safari lodges or a luxury safari lodge with 5 star facilities with excellent cuisine. It could be a great migration safari, romantic safari or to a bush destination for a walking safari.

Kenya Flying Safari Holidays

Kenya Flying Safari Holidays

Fly on a light aircraft between Kenya's most popular wildlife areas and holiday destinations to reduce your traveling time. Our air safaris allow you to spend more time on game drives and time to relax in luxury camps and lodges. Our destinations include Wilson, Amboseli, Kilimanjaro, Lewa Downs, Loisaba, Masai Mara, Nanyuki, Samburu, Migori, Kisumu, etc. We also tailor-make charter services to various destinations, depending on our client's requests. We use different types of aircraft such as Dash 7s, twin otters, and Caravans.

Kenya Road & Air Combined Safaris

Kenya Road & Air Combined Safaris

ORC Tours & Travel offers a selection of road and flying safari itineraries from 2 days to 2 weeks and most of these can be tailored to your own requirements by adding additional nights. Our Kenya road & air safari packages offer a mix of both fly-in and road safari experiences. Most of the road and air combined safaris depart from Nairobi or from Mombasa. Transport is either by a luxury safari minivan or 4x4 safari vehicle enclosed on the sides (with windows) and have a pop-up top for excellent game viewing.

You get to spend a great deal of time with your driver-guide who accompanies you throughout your journey. The fly-in portion of your safari is included where large distances between safari destinations need to be covered in a short time. These flights add you more time to enjoy the destination visited and also save you the dusty, rough and bumpy rides.
